Internship Opportunity


Social Action for Community and Development (SACD), an independent non-governmental organization that works to build, strengthen, and support the people’s movement, youth, and feminist activist for just socio-economic, and participatory democracy in Cambodia.

We are seeking to recruit a passionate Cambodian candidate to join our team as a full time intern for the Campaign and Communication Programme. This position is for 6 months period. 

Benefits: You will join the team which consists of young passionate women. Opportunity to develop your interpersonal knowledge and skills from the people we have been working with and from the tasks you will be responsible, the monthly stipend, and chance to be promoted as the staff member.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) trending
• Produce popular educational material, which includes short videos, infographic, posters, etc. of SACD’s programme
• Gather and filling laws and regulations around media and right to information
• Conduct regular monitor and update of SACD analysis and works on our website and Social Media
• Participate in SACD events;
• Support SACD’s team members as needed
• Prepare six months report

Requirement

• Having background and interest in campaign and communication work
• Having creative idea on layout of ICE material
• Open to learn and work collective with the team and/or our external consultant/programme support on video, inforgraph, and other IEC material development
• Having knowledge, awareness, and empathy on human rights, needs and challenges of marginalized women and grassroots people in Cambodia
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point
• Honest, commitment to work, and respect value of everyone
